FAN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The Newin NJF series hollow-type aluminum alloy fans are shipped unassembled for convenient transportation. The fan blades and hub are meticulously matched to ensure seamless reassembly, providing you with consistent quality and performance every time.
a. Choose a wide-open area to accommodate the fan's diameter for hassle-free assembly.
b. Position the fan hub at the center of your workspace, ensuring the blade sockets are easily accessible.
c. Carefully place fan blade 2 into a blade socket on the hub. For fans with overlapping blades at the hub, ensure the leading edge is positioned under the trailing edge of the forward blade for correct alignment.
d. Confirm that the blade shank safety collar is positioned inside the inner hub rim, ensuring secure and safe assembly.
1. Ensure that the cooling tower motor is securely locked out for your safety during installation.
2. Thoroughly clean the hub bore and the driving shaft extension along the full length of the key for a clean, secure fit.
3. Insert the key into the keyway carefully. Ensure that the top of the key remains below the top of the shaft by no more than 3 mm. The key should fit tightly across the width and must not be altered to maintain integrity.
4. After cleaning, generously apply a coat of anti-seize compound to the engagement portion of the shaft to facilitate smooth installation.
5. Carefully raise the fan assembly above the shaft and gently lower the hub onto it, ensuring the keyways are perfectly aligned. Ensure the key remains in position throughout the installation.
6. Secure the installation by fitting the Hub Retention Cap Screw with the Lock Washer, guaranteeing stability and safety.
