FAN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The Newin NJF series of hollow type aluminum alloy fans are crafted with precision and shipped in an unassembled state, ensuring top quality protection. Each component, including fan blades and the hub, are perfectly matched to guarantee seamless re-assembly upon arrival.
a. Choose a spacious open area that can comfortably accommodate the entire fan diameter with ease.
b. Carefully position the fan hub 1 at the center of your designated work area, aligning it perfectly with the blade sockets.
c. Insert fan blade 2 into a blade socket on the hub. In cases where blades overlap at the hub, ensure the leading edge is positioned under the trailing edge of the forward blade for optimal alignment.
d. Confirm that the blade shank safety collar is positioned inboard of the inner hub rim to enhance stability and safety.
1. Ensure the cooling tower motor is securely locked out to maintain safety during installation.
2. Thoroughly clean the hub bore and the entire length of the driving shaft extension key to prepare for installation.
3. Insert the key into the keyway with precision. The top of the key should not exceed 3 mm below the top of the shaft. Maintain a snug fit across the width, and never modify the key.
4. After cleaning, apply a generous coat of anti-seize compound to the engagement portion of the shaft to ensure smooth and secure assembly.
5. Carefully elevate the fan assembly above the shaft and gently lower the hub onto the shaft, aligning the keyways perfectly. Ensure the key remains in its position throughout the installation process.
6. Secure the Hub Retention Cap Screw with a Lock Washer, ensuring a tight and reliable fit.
