FAN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The Newin NJF series of hollow type aluminum alloy fans are designed with convenience in mind, delivered to you in an unassembled form. Rest assured, each fan blade and hub is perfectly matched to facilitate seamless re-assembly, ensuring that the re-assembled unit operates with precision.
a. Choose a spacious open area that comfortably accommodates the full diameter of the fan for a hassle-free assembly.
b. Position the fan hub 1 centrally within your workspace, ensuring that the blade sockets are readily accessible for a smooth installation process.
c. Insert fan blade 2 into a designated blade socket on the hub. For models where blades overlap at the hub, ensure the leading edge is tucked securely beneath the trailing edge of the preceding blade for optimal alignment.
d. Confirm that the blade shank safety collar is positioned inboard of the inner hub rim for secure installation.
1. Ensure absolute safety by locking out the cooling tower motor before commencing installation.
2. Thoroughly clean both the hub bore and the entire length of the driving shaft extension to remove any debris for a pristine surface.
3. Carefully insert the key into the keyway, ensuring the key's top remains slightly below the shaft's top by no more than 3mm. The key fits snugly across the width and must remain unaltered for a secure fit.
4. Post-cleaning, apply a generous coat of anti-seize compound to the engagement section of the shaft to prevent future seizing and ensure smooth operation.
5. Gently elevate the fan assembly over the shaft and gradually lower the hub onto the shaft, aligning the keyways precisely. Make sure the key remains in place during installation to avoid any slippage.
6. Securely fasten the Hub Retention Cap Screw with the accompanying Lock Washer to complete the installation, guaranteeing stability and durability.
