FAN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The Newin NJF series, featuring advanced hollow-type aluminum alloy fans, are delivered in an unassembled configuration. The fan blades and hub are precisely matched to ensure seamless and accurate re-assembly, ready to provide superior performance and reliability.
a. Choose a spacious, open area that can comfortably accommodate the full diameter of the fan for easy assembly.
b. Carefully position the fan hub 1 at the center of your workspace, ensuring the blade sockets are easily accessible.
c. Gently place fan blade 2 into a blade socket on the hub. For fans with overlapping blades at the hub, ensure the leading edge is placed beneath the trailing edge of the forward blade for optimal performance.
d. Double-check that the blade shank safety collar is securely positioned inboard of the inner hub rim for maximum safety.
1. Ensure the cooling tower motor is securely locked out to prevent any accidental activation during the installation process.
2. Thoroughly clean the hub bore and the entire length of the driving shaft extension to ensure a smooth installation.
3. Carefully insert the key into the keyway. The key's top must remain below the shaft's top by no more than 3 mm. The key should fit snugly across the width and must remain unaltered to maintain integrity.
4. Following the cleaning process, generously apply a coat of anti-seize compound to the engagement portion of the shaft to ensure longevity and ease of future maintenance.
5. Gently raise the fan assembly above the shaft, carefully lowering the hub onto the shaft with the keyways perfectly aligned. Ensure the key remains in place throughout the installation for a secure fit.
6. Securely install the Hub Retention Cap Screw with the accompanying Lock Washer to firmly fasten the assembly in place, ensuring optimal stability and performance.
