FAN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Crafted with meticulous expertise, Newin's NJF series hollow type aluminum alloy fans are delivered in an unassembled format. The precision-matched fan blades and hub guarantee seamless reassembly, ensuring perfect alignment and performance.
a. Choose a spacious and open area that can accommodate the expansive fan diameter, allowing for safe and easy assembly.
b. Centrally position the fan hub 1 within the work area, ensuring accessibility to the blade sockets for a streamlined assembly process.
c. Carefully place fan blade 2 into a blade socket on the hub. For fans with overlapping blades at the hub, ensure the leading edge is positioned beneath the trailing edge of the preceding blade for optimal aerodynamics.
d. Verify that the blade shank safety collar is positioned inboard of the inner hub rim to maintain safety and functionality.
1. Ensure the cooling tower motor is securely locked out for safety before proceeding with installation.
2. Thoroughly clean the hub bore and the driving shaft extension along the entire length of the key, removing all debris and contaminants.
3. Insert the key into the keyway. Ensure the top of the key is positioned slightly below the top of the shaft by no more than 3 mm. This precision fit must remain unaltered across the width to maintain structural integrity.
4. Post-cleaning, apply a generous coat of anti-seize compound to the engagement portion of the shaft, facilitating smooth engagement and preventing future seizing.
5. Carefully elevate the fan assembly above the shaft, gently lowering the hub onto the shaft with keyways aligned. Confirm the key remains stationary and does not slide during installation for a secure fit.
6. Secure the installation by affixing the Hub Retention Cap Screw along with the Lock Washer, ensuring robust retention and stability.
