FAN ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The Newin NJF series, renowned for their hollow type aluminum alloy fans, are delivered in an unassembled form. This allows for easy transport and storage. Each fan blade and hub are matched meticulously to guarantee a seamless re-assembly process, ensuring that your fan operates at its peak performance.
a. Select a wide open area to accommodate the fan's diameter, providing ample space for assembly and operation.
b. Position the fan hub at the center of this designated work area, ensuring the blade sockets are correctly oriented for assembly.
c. Carefully place fan blade 2 into a blade socket on the hub. For fans where blade overlap occurs at the hub, ensure the leading edge is positioned under the trailing edge of the adjacent forward blade for correct assembly.
d. Ensure that the blade shank safety collar is positioned inboard of the inner hub rim for optimal safety and performance.
1. Ensure the cooling tower motor is securely locked out to guarantee safety during installation.
2. Thoroughly clean the hub bore and the driving shaft extension throughout the entire length of the key to ensure a precise fit.
3. Carefully insert the key into the keyway. Make sure the top of the key is positioned no more than 3 mm below the top of the shaft. The key must fit tightly across the width and should never be altered.
4. After ensuring all components are clean, apply a coat of anti-seize compound to the shaft's engagement portion to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation.
5. Elevate the fan assembly above the shaft and gently lower the hub onto the shaft, ensuring the keyways are perfectly aligned. Take care that the key remains in place during installation.
6. Secure the Hub Retention Cap Screw firmly with the Lock Washer to ensure stable and reliable fan operation.
